How do I use Siri to control my drives?
Dryves integrates seamlessly with Siri for hands-free drive management. Here's how to use it:
- Start a drive: Say "Hey Siri, start a drive in Dryves"
- Stop a drive: Say "Hey Siri, stop my drive in Dryves"
- Check status: Say "Hey Siri, show my driving hours in Dryves"
You can also create custom Siri Shortcuts in the Shortcuts app for personalized voice commands.
How do I import driving hours from other apps?
Dryves makes it easy to import your existing driving data:
- Open Dryves and go to Settings
- Tap "Import Drives"
- Select your previous app's export file (CSV or compatible format)
- Review the imported drives and confirm
Your driving hours will be automatically added to your Dryves log with all metadata preserved.
How do location reminders work?
Dryves uses intelligent location-based reminders to help you remember to log your drives:
- Save locations: Mark frequently visited places like home, school, or practice areas
- Automatic detection: Dryves will detect when you arrive or leave these locations
- Smart notifications: Get reminded to start or stop your drive at the right time
- Privacy first: All location processing happens on your device

How do Live Activities work?
Live Activities let you see your driving time in real-time on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and later):
- Start a drive in Dryves
- The Live Activity automatically appears on your Lock Screen
- See your drive duration, start time, and quick controls
- On iPhone 14 Pro and later, the activity appears in the Dynamic Island
Live Activities require iOS 16.1 or later.
Can I use Dryves with CarPlay?
Yes! Dryves includes full CarPlay support:
- Launch Dryves from your CarPlay dashboard
- Start and stop drives with a single tap
- View your current drive duration
- All controls are optimized for in-car use and safety
CarPlay functionality requires iOS 16 or later and a compatible CarPlay system.
What widgets are available?
Dryves offers multiple widget options:
- Home Screen widgets: Small, medium, and large widgets showing your progress
- Lock Screen widgets: Circular and rectangular widgets for iOS 16+
- StandBy mode: Full-screen widgets for iPhone 14 Pro and later
- Quick actions: Start drives directly from widgets
To add a widget, long-press your Home Screen or Lock Screen and tap the "+" button.
